Pray for Our Wounded Veterans and Their Families — 7 Comments

  1. Having two sons who both came home from war with injuries and PTSD i totally understand the need for prayer and action and love to be poured out to our veteran military communities

  2. Wow, Helen! I am so sorry. Thank you for letting us know so we can be praying for your sons.
We appreciate their service to our country—and for yours (as their mom), Helen.
    May I ask their names?

  3. I think about our service men and women like Steve in our fictional story, especially when I see TV ads that ask for support for our wounded veterans.

I wonder how they’re coping after returning from war.

  4. Good morning Sheryl. I have friends and family who have served. I pray for our service man and woman who have served and,who are still serving for our country. I want our veterans and their families taken care of.My heart breaks when I check on one of our friends and I hear he is not getting the help he needs from what the VA considers a counselor.

    • That is a true concern, Susan. I, too, want our veterans to receive EVERY help and benefit we can offer. INCLUDING counseling.
Please tell your friends and family THANK YOU for their service.

  5. “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. For the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and He also has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2. We need to pray for our veterans and thank them for their service to our country to keep us free. Some come back from war scarred for life, but when they put their trust in God, He can become their strength in their valleys! Thanks Sheryl! ⛰️️⚓️
