What if We Didn’t Pray for Our Pastors? — 8 Comments

  1. Good morning Sheryl! I am so thankful for our Pastor. He preaches the true word of God and,he is always there for his people. He will take time and pray for you and whatever you are walking through. Our intercessory prayer team which i am apart of pray for all our ministry team daily and every time we gather together in our group. We also have different people who stand in the Gap and pray for our Sunday service while it is going on. Our Pastor need our coverage in our daily prayers. God bless all Pastors that preach the true word of God.

    • Well done, Susan and all the intercessors at your church! What is the name of your church – and your pastor’s (and your wife’s?) name.

  2. Tell us the name of your church and your pastor’s name (and if he’s married, his wife’s name). Let us know what you appreciate about them!

  3. We have several pastors at our church, but our head pastor just went on a trip with many of our congregants to experience Paul’s journey’s during his lifetime through scriptures! I know several who went, and they all really enjoyed their time there. Mark is very loved by everyone at our church, and he knows that he is appreciated by many! He also preaches verse by verse, as they teach at the Dallas Seminary! I’ve run into his wife, Jan, many times outside of church and made her feel appreciated as well. Our church family is awesome! “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, / so that you may be able to test and prove what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, / filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11. Thanks for the reminder to pray for our pastors and their wives, Sheryl!✝️

    • Thank you for honoring your pastor and his wife, Mark and Jan, Kim, with your comment.
And for sharing your Philippians prayer for them.
You and your church are blessed to have this beautiful couple, as they are blessed to have each of you. The same is true for all of the pastors (and their wives) of your church!

  4. Thank you for prompting me to pray for him and his wife right now!
    Another great post.

    • Thank you SO much, Janice.
I actually put a reminder in my phone so I won’t forget to pray for Pastor Dominic and his wife, Jessica.
