When You Think Your Life Isn’t Worth Living — 10 Comments

  1. For anyone who has unfortunately joined the club of someone who has lost someone dear to them because of suicide, I would like to recommend that they consider reading the following book: Take The Dimness of My Soul Away by Bill Ritter.

  2. Good morning, Sheryl.
My father committed suicide Oct. 4, 1975. This devastated my life as well as my family. Suicide is a permanent action to a temporary problem. Thanks for being open and sincere about your journey. It took years for me to process, but I’m an overcomer by the grace of Christ our Lord.
    God bless!

  3. Good morning Lady! Praying for you as you minister to others who are walking this journey in life. I am so thankful we can call on God in our time of struggles in our lives and, I am thankful for a Christian counselor in my life right now.

  4. Thank you, Sheryl for sharing your experience with suicide and giving others hope in knowing that God has a purpose for everyone and loves us unconditionally! I’m so glad that you have past that time when you were depressed and felt worthless. We all have value as God’s children. There were many times when David cried out in desperation to the Lord in the Psalms and God was always there to comfort him even in trying times. “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,” Ephesians 1:11. “nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Roman’s 8:39. Let’s all pray for those who are desperate to cry out to the only One who can save us from ourselves!✝️️
