  1. ‘Exalt the lord, who has established us’ based on Colossians 2:6-7 NASB.”)
Your post addressed many serious issues in our country. Certainly we can’t exhaust all the issues but I love that you are requesting God to show us our sins as a nation and the focus of the National Day of Prayer this year is on praise. That is certainly something we have gotten away from. Oh wouldn’t that be truly wonderful if we did repent as a nation and turned to God!!!

    • It would, indeed, be truly wonderful, Barbara!
(Thank you for sharing this devotion on your FB page, Barbara.)

  2. My prayer for America is that we would be more concerned about the effects that WE have upon our nation. Political powers of various leanings choose courses of action that hurt us as a nation. I would like to see groups lose their agendas and open their minds to the harm their positions cause. I pray we would all seek common ground.

    • Hello, Joe. Agree.
I too pray often that our leaders (and our citizens, for that matter) care more about America than their political agenda.
