Make 2023 A Better Year

Think how it would transform our witness as Christ followers if we praised God for the extraordinary love He displayed at Calvary. As we continue to declare God’s praises, our confidence in His love and faithfulness will grow. Our witness will become stronger as we no longer believe the lie that we’re not worthy of God’s care and direction.

How do we hold on to our faith when someone we care about has cancer? When our parent, spouse, child or friend only has months to live, our faith takes a beating. We might wonder if God is willing to heal our loved one. Or if He’s able to sustain us as we watch their illness progress.

I have no doubt that the devil loves to get us thinking the worst-case scenario to keep us from confidently trusting God. He loves to make us forget that God is far greater and much more powerful than he (the devil) can ever be. Therefore, I meditate on scripture that reminds me about God’s love, mercy, power, ability, compassion, etc., etc., etc.!
