Do We Value God’s Wisdom? — 7 Comments

  1. Sheryl, thank you for your powerful, thought-provoking message! This truly made me stop and think: “God’s Word is life changing. As we seek God’s wisdom by praying and diligently searching through the pages of the Bible, we’ll discover hidden treasure.”

I am so thankful that He never stops pursuing us ~ may we never stop seeking Him! Amen!

I am both honored and blessed to share your message on my Timeline.

    • Good late morning, Joyce (at least here in Florida!). I appreciate your comment so much – especially “I am so thankful that He never stops pursuing us ~ may we never stop seeking Him! Amen!” Where would we be if He ever did stop pursuing Him!?!
And thank you again for sharing my message on your Facebook page. I always appreciate it when you do.

  2. Those familiar with God’s word do value it but probably never seek it as often as needed.

In doing a Bible study on the Holy Spirit yesterday, a passage was quoted about spiritual gifts, 1 Corinthians 12:8-11, and the first on the list is “the utterance of wisdom.” That really got my attention. Some people are chosen by God to be infused with extra wisdom as their gifting to help others in the church. And the Bible instucts us to seek counsel before we make big decisions. God always wants our best!

    • Hello, Janice! I couldn’t agree with you more about how important it is to seek counsel before we make big (and sometimes small ones, I might add) decisions – because God, indeed always wants our best!
