Don’t Let Procrastination Steal Your Joy — 6 Comments

  1. I am getting better in organization. It never been easy for me but my to do list does help.
I am just going to keep plugging away. The timer does help.

    • Hi, Sandra! My timer helps me with my to-do list, too. So much!!
I hope some of the other suggestions I offered will also help you–and me! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by. I always love hearing from you.

  2. We need to be productive every day of our lives to fulfill our purpose for the Lord in service to others and to finish our activities of daily living. “I went past the field of a slacker and by the vineyard of a man lacking judgment. / Thorns had grown up everywhere, thistles had covered the ground, and the stone wall was broken down. / I observed and took it to heart; I looked and received instruction: …” Proverbs 24:30-34
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6. Thanks Sheryl!

    • Hi, Kim. Thank you for sharing these powerful Scriptures. Proverbs 24 paints such a vivid picture of what can happen when we neglect what God has placed before us, and 2 Corinthians 9:6 is a beautiful reminder that our efforts—when done for the Lord—do matter.

I agree that living with purpose and serving others is part of our calling. I’m reminded how much we need God’s wisdom to balance diligence with dependence on Him. Productivity for its own sake can wear us out, but when our actions are guided by His direction, even small, faithful steps bear lasting fruit.

I appreciate your encouragement—it’s a great reminder to stay intentional with the time and opportunities God gives us.
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you!
